Mantra ahead in Guest Satisfaction Poll

Mantra Sneaks Ahead in Guest Satisfaction Poll

New research reveals the Mantra accommodation brand is one of the best hotel groups when it comes to delivering customer satisfaction.

Results from the latest Roy Morgan Research Hotel Customer Satisfaction Survey show both Mantra and Crowne Plaza together lead over their 25 competing hotel brands.

Mantra sits around the top of the poll on 87 per cent for customer satisfaction ahead of Sheraton, Hilton and Marriott.

The results come from a survey pool of more than 5,000 guests who stayed at a hotel or resort between January 2009 and December 2010.

Another 12 hotels and resorts sit below the 79 per cent average satisfaction mark in the poll.

Over the past 12 months, Mantra has appeared consistently in the top 3 in this survey.

Jane Ianniello, International Director of Tourism, Travel & Leisure for Roy Morgan Research, says: “There is only a three percentage point gap in customer satisfaction between the top eight performing hotels, indicating that all of them are competing strongly for the same premium customers.

Mantra Group CEO Bob East said the research findings are pleasing.   “We are striving to be Australia’s favourite accommodation provider, through our ongoing refurbishments, our excellent staff training and our dedication to good service.”
